Pakistan – Increase in Import Detention Charges

Hapag-Lloyd will revise the Import Detention Tariff to Pakistan with effect from August 18, 2011.

We would like to inform you that with effect from August 18, 2011 Hapag-Lloyd will revise the Import Detention Tariff to Pakistan as follows:

General Remarks:

1. Free time stated is inclusive of Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays.
2. Free time is calculated from the day the container is reported gate-out of terminal to the day the empty container is reported gate-in to depot.
3. Import detention tariff for reefer containers (temperature controlled) remain unchanged.
4. Reefer containers must be returned empty at the sea port; no empty drop-off at Inland Container Depots (ICD) is available.
